I learned the “style lingo”, how to determine body proportion, and to evaluate color with my skin. I had been wearing pastel colors forever and learned that I needed warmer colors. My wardrobe is now evolving to brighter colors.

The consultation session was well prepared, organized and professional. The format used was very beneficial in capturing all of the key focus areas. We had so much fun the time flew by, however; I still left with a plan and the wardrobe and style advice I need to begin working on my own. This process is very intuitive and beneficial in learning more about yourself and expressing it through your wardrobe. Using the workbook and swatches provided allows me to know exactly which colors and styles that I need to go shopping. I no longer have to ponder on what to buy. I have my plan and stick to it during shopping decisions.

The image and fashion consultation covered a wide range of topics through pre-meeting exercises covering clothing needs, perceptions of self image and messages this communicates, personal style preferences etc. Most importantly, these topics forces the participant to consider what their personal style is, what style they are moving towards and what they value. The preparation forms the groundwork for an intensely informative session with Natalie (image consultant and fashion stylist).

Natalie equips her clients to make informative decisions about the garments they wear that fit their body shape best. I understand my body better, and can exercise discretion in terms of what garments/colors/accessories compliments my figure and lifestyle. In addition to helping me set important image priorities, the session exposed me to different ways of thinking and reasoning about my personal/professional style. I gained insight into how to dress more femininely yet professionally.

I got the new bra the same day I had the image consultation with you, and have purchased another since then. It does make a big difference. Shortly after that, my mother and I found this really great dress based on the pointers I now have, and I have gotten nothing but wonderful compliments whenever I wear it. It's a summer dress, so I'll have to look for some more for the different seasons. I also now only look for tops and jackets that meet the conditions of elongating my torso, and I've really noticed the difference. I pulled my heels out of the closet and no longer only reserve my "nice clothes", shoes, etc. for special occasions. Of course I'm paying attention to my colors, but that comes with more practice since I still carry the swatches in my purse so I always have them when I'm in the stores.
